Want to understand the man behind the art?
Embark on a guided journey and delve together into Rubens’s artistic past in the Rubens Experience, after which you can dig deeper into his private life in the redesigned garden.
Admire precious items from our collection, including his self-portrait, in the intimate Rubens Experience and enjoy the immersive technology.
Afterwards, take a walk back in time in the garden to the 16th and 17th centuries. Rubens loved to spend time here, in search of inspiration or during a stroll with his beloved, his children, or his patrons and fellow artists.
Practical
Every first Saturday of the month in Dutch, every second Saturday of the month in English, tour starts at 2pm each time.
