Rubenshuis on tour

During the renovation of the artist’s residence, the art collection of the Rubenshuis travels to numerous museums and other locations both in Belgium and abroad. This way, the artworks remain accessible to the public even while the house is closed.

Looted art in the collection

The current art collection mainly consists of donations, bequests and acquisitions. However, some works ended up in the collection for completely different reasons.
