Opening party with a superb choir, DJ set and Rubens cocktails
The Rubenshuis is reopening in style. Enter via the new entrance and take in the sights, sounds and vibe through the Rubens Experience, the redesigned garden and the library. Musical talent from today and tomorrow will be creating the atmos in the baroque setting. Toast with the one and only Rubens cocktail, dance to a DJ set by Assia MK and enjoy a unique Rubens experience.
Choir DeCHORALE will kick off the evening with a bang. The 70-strong oratorio choir will perform a mix of classic and contemporary numbers in the baroque setting. Feel the urge to dance coming on? Time for a blast of Baroque Clubbing. Dancer and choreographer Lieven Baert and his team bring historical dances back to life, and you're invited to dance along. Don't hold back, because Rubens also had a few nifty dance moves. Shake some more with the one and only Rubens cocktail, dance to the DJ set and have yourself a blast.
