Bernard G. Maillet collection

A specific sub-collection, but absolutely worth exploring: Bernard G. Maillet collected research on painted church interiors in the Low Countries for more than 35 years. The result? More than 2,000 inventoried and identified works of art.  

In 2013, he published the catalogue raisonné ‘Intérieurs d'églises. La peinture architecturale des écoles du nord, 1580-1720’’. In the archive, you will find dozens of covers, containing a nicely organised folder for each painted church interior.
