Group visits

Tours for groups and schools

You are a member of a group or an association of people who are passionate about Rubens. Then we have the perfect excursion for you.

Please note: these tours are temporarily unavailable due to the corona virus.

You can choose from several guided tours as a group or class, some of which look at Rubens's work from a surprising angle. They include guided visits in the museum or city walks inspired by Rubens. You can visit the museum with a group but without a guide.

A group visit without a guide

Are you visiting with a group of more than 12 people? Kindly book beforehand. Send an e-mail stating the number of participants and the date and time of your visit to rubenshuis@antwerpen.be

A group visit with a guide

Possibly your group might like to tour the museum with a professional guide? Our guides can speak passionately about the life and work of this great artist - in Rubens's house or during a city walk.

Our guided visits and city walks for groups

Rubens House, palazzo on the Scheldt

Welcome to Peter Paul Rubens's house! His work has inspired artists and art aficionados for over four hundred years. A lot of his work was created in this house.

Baroque capital of the Netherlands

Are you up for a good city walk with some "body"? Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony Van Dyck and Jacob Jordaens, the three princes of the Antwerp Baroque, will gladly show you some of the Baroque architectural highlights of their city.

In Rubens's footsteps

A walk through the city of Rubens starts near the River Scheldt, which has been Antwerp's lifeline for centuries.
